Mavicadabra! - is a utility for owners of Sony Mavica digital cameras which speeds up the process of copying and renaming files from Mavica floppy disks to a Mac's hard drive. Mavicadabra! can even convert files to Macintosh PICT format, create QuickTime previews, add a thumbnail icon, change the file's creator type to that of your prefered graphics editing/viewing application, split multi-images into 9 seperate files, add a timestamp, and create index pictures. Also included is an optional system extension that monitors floppy disk activity and automatically activates Mavicadabra whenever a photo disk is detected. All you need to do is take the pictures and feed the disks into the drive! Mavicadabra! is designed for use with the FD71 but should work with the FD5, FD51, FD7, FD81, and FD91 models as well.
